Sandy’s Coffee table books

I think we get too caught up in what qualifies as something we’ve read.

We start a novel we purchased, put it down, and never pick it up again. Several unread works of fiction. It may feel discouraging, but it doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy reading or can’t find the time to do it. It most likely means we have to move on from that story. Don’t force ourselves to read something we’re not enjoying.

We need to feel inspired. We need to have fun with it.

Whenever I feel like I need some inspiration, I immediately turn to coffee table books that include personal topics of interests. Topics that fill me with joy, like the ones below.

  • Gardening

  • Interior Design

  • Style Icons

  • Lifestyle

  • Tennis

Without saying much, coffee table books can reveal so much about us. They’re my go-to when I want to read something and feel inspired without having to overthink.

I get lost in the beautiful images, quotes, and snippets of joy and motivation. A form of therapy, if you wish. Something I consume, but then I feel the urge to recreate in my own way. It keeps me curious. I take those snippets and feel inspired to add my personal touch.

Life is challenging enough to get caught up in what qualifies as a good book. When in doubt, start with a coffee table book that brings you joy.

With love,

Sandy
